A look at Edwardian fashion
Join Ruth Battersby-Tooke, Curator of Costume and Textile for the Norfolk Museums Service, for an illustrated talk about the diverse influences on women’s fashion during the Edwardian period. Using a range of sources the talk will discuss the shift in women’s dress from 1901-10 by looking at the gradual adoption of Victorian ideas such as Dress Reform and Artistic dress alongside the cultural, social and economic changes of the period.
