Archived Event
THURS 21 FEBRUARY, 7PM
Mark Knight, Senior Project Officer for the Cambridge Archaeological Unit, will talk about their recent excavations at the Bronze Age site of Must Farm, near Whittlesey.
The first landscape scale archaeological investigation of deep Fenland, the site has already produced some extraordinary finds including the now famous, breathtakingly preserved log boats dating from 1,300BC! Discover the prehistoric secrets yielded by the site thus far, its exciting links to Flag Fen, and what the future holds.
Refreshments will be available to purchase both before and after the lecture.
All workshops and lectures can be booked through Peterborough Museum on 01733 864663 or museum@vivacity-peterborough.com. Booking is essential for all workshops and strongly recommended for lectures.
