This fascinating series of 10 lectures will chart the history of the city from its origins (‘before people’) to the modern day. Bringing together experts in each topic, this lecture series will give an overview of how Peterborough became the city it is today.
Take a trip through Peterborough as it used to be, and along the way discover more about prehistory, the Romans, and life in the medieval, Georgian and Victorian city!

Lectures are held on a Wednesday evening, at 7:30pm.
