Heritage Workshops & Lectures; Spring 2013
The Role of English Heritage in 2013
Dr Will Fletcher
Archived Event
THURS 7 FEB, 7PM
English Heritage exists to protect and promote England’s spectacular historic environment and ensure that its past is researched and understood.
Join Dr Will Fletcher, Inspector of Ancient Monuments for Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk, to explore the role English Heritage plays in preserving historical sites across the country. Using Flag Fen as a case study, Dr Fletcher will highlight the lesserknown work done by the organisation at sites they do not manage.
Refreshments will be available to purchase both before and after the lecture.
All workshops and lectures can be booked through Peterborough Museum on 01733 864663 or museum@vivacity-peterborough.com. Booking is essential for all workshops and strongly recommended for lectures.
