Tree Dressing Day
Help us turn the front of Peterborough Museum into an explosion of colour this winter!
Celebrated on the first weekend in December, National Tree Dressing Day encourages everyone to appreciate the trees around us. Drop-in to the museum all day on Saturday 1 December for a host of activities that will be fun for all the family!
Decorate and personalise a ribbon, before hanging it from one of the trees that grow in front of the building. There’ll also be the chance to try a fairy trail around the building (and perhaps beyond!). We’ll be telling ancient tree myths and magical tales of fairy tree spirits as well.
Trees, and their myths, have been celebrated across the world for centuries, so why not don your own fairy wings and join in the fun at the museum this December?
This event will run from 10am-5pm. 50p per ribbon and 50p per trail. For further details call 01733 864 663, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
