Museum spooky stuff
Peterborough Museum doesn’t just tell the fascinating story of the city’s history, it is also the city’s most haunted building. In fact, there are no less than eight different ghosts said to haunt the building’s many rooms and corridors.
Why not see if you can spot one on our ghost cam in the cellar? Or maybe you can see one in the flesh (literally) on one of our candlelit tours or ghost vigils which are now available for after we reopen.
Our ghosts have attracted interest from newspapers, radio and TV, including Living TV’s ‘Most Haunted’. Not surprising when you think we’ve received reports of paranormal activity from over 70 different sites in Peterborough – with one or two new cases reported each month. Our ghost walks are a great way to hear the stories behind the hauntings and perhaps even spot a ghost.
Join one of our crime and punishment walks, and you can also hear about other spooky and grizzly goings-on. We also run talks in the Museum or at your location for groups who want to learn more about Peterborough’s ghosts, how we set up the ghost walks, or ask questions about your own paranormal experiences.
