How to find us
There are several car parks located close to Peterborough Museum, including at Peterborough Railway Station, Queensgate Shopping Centre and Car Haven near to the Town Hall.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am – 5pm (last admission 4.30pm)
Open Mondays (School holidays and Bank Holidays), 10am – 5pm (last admission 4.30pm)
Open Mondays (School terms) for pre-booked groups only.
Closures over holiday periods vary, please contact the musuem for more information.
- General admission is FREE.
- Admission on special event days: Admission prices vary depending on event.
Please note that our Santa Needs You…Enlist as an Elf! event will run from Saturday 19 December – Monday 21 December inclusive. There will be an admission charge to the Museum during this period. Normal admission resumes on Tuesday 22 December.
Groups and guided tours

Independent group visits are welcomed but restricted to a maximum of 32 people (for independent school visits: 32 plus supporting staff).
