Walks and Talks

Peterborough Museum runs daytime and evening guided walks and tours around Peterborough city centre, providing a fascinating, fun and informative look at the city’s past.

Choose a walk or tour by time, theme or subject. But before you do, here’s some general information:

  • Tours start at our meeting point at the front of Peterborough Museum, Priestgate, unless otherwise stated.
  • Tours last around 90 minutes.

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Tours (except the Candlelit Museum tour) are suitable for wheelchair users.
  • Tours happen whatever the weather – there are plenty of places to shelter en route if necessary.

  • Our guides are Blue Badge or Peterborough City Guide qualified.

We also offer a range of talks to groups, clubs and societies. Please follow the link on the menu to find out more.
