Talks and Lectures

Members of the Museum team, our freelancers and tour guides can offer a range of entertaining and informative talks to groups, clubs and societies (subject to availability).

If you have a particular preferred date for a talk, please contact us as much in advance as possible. Our speakers tend to be very popular and often book up very quickly.

Talks generally last just under an hour, with time for questions afterwards, although timings can be flexible. Our talks are illustrated – we bring a laptop and projector and only ask that you supply something to plug into and something to project onto (a screen or blank wall).

Please be aware that we do charge for doing talks to cover costs and help generate income to help run our services. Charges are available on application.
