How to get Involved

If you’re interested in casual sports coaching or volunteering and have a sports qualification, we may be able to offer you casual coaching work or volunteering opportunities with the sports development team.

If you have Level 2 NGB qualifications, we’re more likely to be able to offer you work. However, we may take on assistant coaches with at least Level 1 national governing body qualifications or a community sports leader award. Hours are not guaranteed and usually occur on an ad-hoc basis. Any offer of work is subject to a clear enhanced Criminal Records Bureau screen and provision of some volunteer hours to see if you’re suitable.
