Peterborough Festival

The Peterborough Festival is an annual celebration of Peterborough’s artistic and cultural strengths.

Organised by Vivacity Culture and Leisure on behalf of Peterborough City Council, it takes centre stage in the city over three weekends each June and July.

The 2011 festival benefited from £50,000 from the Arts Council, and we used some of this funding to turn the Peterborough Festival into a world-class platform for artists – and to provide an even stronger arts focus for the city.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Metal are creating a ‘pop-up’ cafe/ venue with accompanying arts programme at Chauffeurs Cottage for the duration of the Peterborough Festival. During the opening weekend (Sat 30 June / Sun 1 July) we are creating a small arts and crafts marketplace within the external courtyard at the cottage that will provide space for local, national and international artists and makers to show and sell work.

There are up to 14 covered stalls (7ft x 3ft) available. Stalls are free. Please complete the application form for your opportunity to take part.
