Spring Bank Holiday

All Peterborough Libraries will be closed on Monday 25th May.

Access to your online library account, the library catalogue and the 24 hour renewal line will be available throughout the period as usual.

Libraries closed for staff training – Monday 1st June

Due to essential staff training, all Peterborough Libraries will be closed between 9.00am and 2.00pm on Monday 1st June.

  • A children’s area
  • Copying and fax
  • Adaptive Technology which allows access to computing for those with disabilities
  • Computers for public use
  • John Clare Theatre, LP Hartley and Zone rooms available for hire

Regular activities and events

  • Albert the Alligator Storycraft session. Stories, crafts and rhymes. FREE sessions for under 5’s. Every Tuesday, 10.30-11.00am.
  • Baby rhyme time. Rhymes and Instruments. Fridays 10.30- 11.00am. FREE.
  • Storytime. Saturdays, 2.15-2.45pm. FREE.
  • City Reading Group. Fourth Satuday of the month, 2.00pm to 3.00 pm. New members wanted. Please contact library staff for the date of the next meeting.

Free computer courses

  • Learn My Way Online Basics every Thursday 2.00pm-3.30pm
  • From 19th May – Job club computer sessions every Tuesday 10.30-12.00pm.

Class visits for schools

  • Please contact the Library to arrange
