Regular activities and events

  • Family History Group – Monday afternoons 1.30pm-3.30pm.
  • Paper Crafters Group – Last Monday in the month 3.30pm – 5.00pm
  • Knit and Natter – Knitting and Crochet Club Monday 1.00 – 3.00 and Tuesday 10.00-12.00 noon.
  • You can do IT – including On-Line Basics, and Job-Seekers – help with a wide range of computer and IT queries – Tuesdays 3.00pm – 4.00pm.
  • Crafts for children – every Saturday 10.00am-12.00noon. Our Tuesday session will begin again in September.
  • Reading groups – Crime Reading Group – first three Mondays in the month 2.00pm-3.00pm
  • Baby rhyme time – Thursdays 2.30pm to 3.00pm
  • Chatterbooks – children’s reading group ages 5-11. Fourth Thursday of every month 3.30pm-4.30pm.
  • Storytime – Fridays 10.00am to 10.30am
  • Saturday Coffee Mornings. Run by the Friends of Werrington Library – First Saturday in the month – 10.00am-12noon.

Friends of Werrington Library (FOWL)

FOWL is an independent group which supports Werrington Library in Peterborough through promoting the work of the library, raising public awareness, keeping the library informed of public opinion, and raising funds.

They are a friendly group, and aim to enjoy themselves whilst helping the library. New members are always welcome.
