- Storytime – Tuesdays and Thursdays 2.00pm to 2.30pm, Thursdays 3.30pm to 4.00pm and Saturdays 10.45am to 11.15am
- Baby rhyme time – Fridays 2.15pm to 2.45pm
- Reading group – Last Tuesday in the month 5.30pm-6.30pm and last Saturday in the month 1.45pm-2.45pm
- Teenage reading group – Once a month – Tuesday 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Please contact library staff for date of the next meeting
- Silver surfers for over 50s, every Tuesday 2.00pm-3.00pm
- Councillors surgery – First Tuesday in the month 6.00pm-7.00pm
- Family History Group – Monday 10.30am-12.00 noon. Booking essential. Join other enthusiasts to research Family History on-line. Free access to Ancestry.com available.
- Lit wits – Childrens reading group. Third Thursday in the month 3.30pm-4.30pm.
- Saturday Coffee Mornings. Run by the Friends of Werrington Library – First Saturday in the month – 10.00am-12noon.
- Manga Club – Second Wednesday in the month 3.30pm-4.30pm
- Knit and Natter – Knitting and Crochet Club every Thursday – 10.30am -11.30am
Friends of Werrington Library (FOWL)
FOWL is an independent group which supports Werrington Library in Peterborough through promoting the work of the library, raising public awareness, keeping the library informed of public opinion, and raising funds.
They are a friendly group, and aim to enjoy themselves whilst helping the library. New members are always welcome.
