Hand Cycling Volunteer Assistant

Every week you will support Peterborough Adapted Cycling Scheme by assisting users at Ferry Meadows and by hiring out cycles and helping participants to improve their fitness. This will involve supporting participants, advising on using equipment safely and ensuring participants have an enjoyable time.

Archery Assistant

Every week you will support Vivacity in the delivery of archery sessions by coaching or assisting at special schools or in the community with disability organisations. This will involve supporting participants, advising on using equipment safely and ensuring the participants enjoy themselves. You will get the opportunity to learn about sports services and will have regular contact with our customers. Available on a Friday from 11 to 12.30 and Sunday from 9.45 to 10.45.

Saturday Swimming Assistant

We are looking for a volunteer to assist on poolside with swimming lessons on a Saturday morning. Do you have the skills we need?

Family Fun Assistant

Every Sunday afternoon from September, we’ll have interactive family fun sessions at the Regional Pool which will include great activities such as zorbing, inflatable’s and many more… If you are activity minded, a people person and patient this role might be for you!

Roller Skate Steward

Rollers is a great disco with the latest music, games and special events throughout the year. We are looking for volunteers to help steward this activity! No skating skill required, but desirable at Bushfield Leisure Centre, Orton or Werrington Leisure Centre. Available: Weekly on a Saturday afternoon and evening, or monthly on a Sunday.

Volunteer Sports Assistant – FINS Swim Club

The FINS Disability Swimming Club teaches children with disabilities how to swim. Supporting the Sports Development Team, this role involves helping the swim instructor to deliver sessions, supporting participants in the water, and helping them have an enjoyable time.
