Estella Todisco
Estella Todisco teaches at West Town Primary School. Following a gap year teaching in Nepal and four years at university in Leeds, Estella worked in documentary television and as a political researcher at Westminster. She was a member of the Key Youth Theatre for six years and continues to be involved in amateur dramatics in Peterborough and Stamford. As a mother of two young children, she and her family use Peterborough’s cultural, leisure and library services regularly.
Estella was brought up in Peterborough and after working further afield, returned to the city in 2000. She has strengths in diversity and equal opportunities, training, strategic planning, sustainability, marketing and fundraising.
“By identifying home-grown talent and welcoming talent from other countries, we can tap into the diverse resource that is undoubtedly lying latent, just out of reach. Once we are involved together in something creative, some expression of our cultural soul, we can make this cultural muscle work harder, grow and flex. The door to unlimited potential is then open. I dream of a Peterborough with a loud creative buzz, sustained and enjoyed by all.”
