Delving deeper

Once you’ve worked out the basic details of your family history, you’ll want to start finding out more details. Family History research is not just about ‘stamp collecting’ the names of your ancestors, it’s a chance to learn more about the world that they lived in.

  • Where did your ancestors go to school?
  • Did you ancestors work in Peterborough?
  • Perhaps your parents or grandparents moved to Peterborough in the 1960s? The records of the Peterborough Development Corporation will tell you lots about the houses that they moved to.
